BCI Instructions for returning Volunteers

Recently there is a new process in order to complete your background check here in Highland County at the Sheriff’s office.

You now have to preregister/application (fill out the forms online and pay) at: https://highlandoh.permitium.com/fingerprint/start

  • Select BCI background check (cost should be less than $37 including fees)
  • At the end of the preregistration/application process, the option to schedule a time for BCI/FBI check will be given (in-person finger scanning).

*If you are required to put in a phone number for the employer, you can put (614) 247-myHR (6947) or a personal number.  Employer phone number isn’t used when the background checks are ran.
