- Every 4-H Club has the opportunity to join the ranks of becoming a Highland County 4-H Honor Club! This prestigious award is given to each club that accumulates the minimum required points. Points are available for a variety of activities such as membership, 4-H Camp attendance, participation in club and county events, and more. Recognition for each member and advisor of an Honor Club will be included in the year-end club packets. For consideration, each club must submit an Honor Club Score Sheet.

If you are planning on becoming a new volunteer, this above application needs to be completed as well as the background check.
BCI Instructions for returning Volunteers
Recently there is a new process in order to complete your background check here in Highland County at the Sheriff’s office.
You now have to preregister/application (fill out the forms online and pay) at: https://highlandoh.permitium.com/fingerprint/start
- Select BCI background check (cost should be less than $37 including fees)
- At the end of the preregistration/application process, the option to schedule a time for BCI/FBI check will be given (in-person finger scanning).
*If you are required to put in a phone number for the employer, you can put (614) 247-myHR (6947) or a personal number. Employer phone number isn’t used when the background checks are ran.
